Lead Engineering Technician

APRI is looking to enhance its prototyping and low-volume production capabilities with the addition of an experienced, highly motivated engineering technician.

Responsibilities

The engineering technician is responsible for all fabrication and assembly projects at APRI. This includes the development of the infrastructure and tools required to produce high quality results within a short time frame. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization of APRI's machine shop and assembly areas to ensure efficient and well maintained operations. This individual will also be responsible for development of inventory control, tool and machine acquisitions, process development and inspection techniques. Supervision of other technicians as required.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 8-10 years of experience as an engineering technician. Proficiency with manual machining, inspection, and mechanical assembly are required. Knowledge of electronic circuits and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics is desired. Experience with circuit board soldering and inspection is preferred. U.S. Citizenship may be required.
